Kayla Scranton
I became a therapist because I believe healing happens in relationship. My clients often find that much of their pain takes root through the context of their relationships, and in session we work to integrate trust and healthy connection into that healing process. I specialize in anxiety, burnout, and women's issues, including perinatal and postpartum adjustments. I care deeply about being a soft place to land for the clients I work with, especially those navigating the exhausting pull of always having to hold it together.
In sessions, my clients are met with warmth, compassion, and intentional presence. My approach is Person-Centered at its core. Additionally, I completed an externship training in Emotionally Focused Therapy in 2025, followed by another Core Skills training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy completed in 2026. My eclectic approach pulls in what fits best for each client as we define goals and create movement toward personal values. As an affirming therapist serving individuals and couples, I welcome clients of all identities and relationship structures into this work.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, completed in 2022, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, completed in 2026. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) in the State of Colorado under the supervision of Taylor Damitio, LPC. Through supervision, I strive to continuously grow and learn alongside my clients by leading with curiosity and staying attuned to what comes up for us in session. I bring both professional training and lived understanding to the work I do with women navigating motherhood, identity, and the stressors that everyday life can bring.
